Questioner: Cleaning your crystals. Do they need to be cleansed?

The Council: Well, if you drop it in a mud puddle, rinse it off with water.

The Council: Now, we made that statement not for the humor, although we hoped that there would be some humor appreciated.

There is no such thing as cleaning any sort of gemstone or stone. By nature they are clean; they are neutral; they are pure. It is what an individual attempts to do with it that may in some people's mind cause it to be negative or dirty, but the real cleaning should come with the person who attempted to use such things in such a manner. Those items, gemstones, what have you, are not negative; they are not positive. They have a specific purpose, and if you use them as they are supposed to be used, you will gain from it. If you try to corrupt it, you will corrupt yourself. Do you understand what we are saying?

It’s hard sticking to Service To Self…

Having a coffee just now after having done the dishes, and spending almost an hour on cleaning the toilet (including the little room it is in), I came to consider that Service to Self sucks bigtime! Not only must you find a selfish based reason to justify each and every one of your actions, but that also goes for the actions that need doing, but where you have no incentive to do them for yourself…..

Let’s take cleaning the toilet for one: I’m not overly hygienophobic (or whatever the word is): Others will talk about the state of my toilet before I even feel a need to clean it up. I’m not a dirty old man, just not that panicky about germs, because I don’t believe their reputation of being there to make us sick. There are for instance plenty of examples where germs actually clean up polluted water…

But hey, back to the toilet: imagine that the above one needs cleaning. Now if you are a Service to Self kinda guy, and somebody would ask you to volunteer for this latrine duty, how would you justify wanting to do it?… Read the rest

The Final Stages of Grounding: life thru new eyes

The Gift of Grounding

Since the last update, we are definitely still grounding, grounding,
grounding. Ouch.

We are basically being drilled into the earth…hence all the
unbelievable leg, back & neck pains… while experiencing earth
activations and the opening of major chakras and higher octaves of
universal intelligence…all of which is providing us with the option to
openly reveal our true nature as fully integrated beings of love.

… Read the restRoughly speaking, in the space of time provided for the finalization of
these major activations, many of us will be presented with swift and
grand opportunities to align with our next level creations and share our
gifts and expertise with the world.

In the mere moments ahead… mainly the time cycle that is presenting
itself through the remainder of this sacred season of completion (from
the equinox until the summer solstice)…those with contracts to serve
the higher good in physical ways are quickening and beginning to put
their newly acquired universal intelligence into tangible form.

From this perspective, those who have had limited access to the earthly
dimensions, the grounded energies and applications needed to live a
fulfilling life, will be once again in the throes of great earthly
support and forward movement.

Spring Cleaning: Make room for something new

As we enter spring here in the Northeast, it seems like a great
time for a "Clean Up Week" to motivate you to purge, clean, or organize
your space so you can welcome in new beginnings. So this week, here are
four ways to do just that…

1. Recycle – Go
through old magazines, books, or catalogs and get rid of them. Bring
the magazines to a doctor’s office, hair salon, or health club. Fill
the recycling bin with outdated catalogs. Donate books to your local
library or church for an upcoming sale. There are plenty of
organizations that take used books. For example, we have gotbooks.com
here in Mass., and they’ll pick them up from your home or office. To
find an organization near you, all you need to do is put "book giveaway +
your town and state" in Google for ideas.

2. Trade
Treasures – Years ago my girlfriends and I would gather for a
give-away party where we’d bring clothes, jewelry, household items,
etc., to trade with one another.

Greetings from the realm of sunshine, bluebirds, waterfalls and never
ending peace. I am Methuselah and I greet you with fondness for all
that you do.

I am aware of your recent experience with opening a doorway of Light
for those ready to enter into the Light. This is occurring planetary
wise on a regular basis due to new energies. The energies of Love, Light
and Peace act as a catalyst for those who are ready and willing to move
to their next level. It has worked well for some time, yet there are
those, shall we say, stubborn ones, who continue to hang on by their
fingernails to what has served them for so long.

These ones have not been affected by the loving prompting of the
effective energies. For those of you who are willing to assist them in
your own way, we advise that you do so and we honor you for your choice
but remember that it is an option of your choosing.

Can you think of anyone in your lineage whom you can remember,

Learn the art of persistence

In last week’s newsletter, I shared the video of a young man who
mastered the art of riding
a bicycle just about anywhere – over the tops of fences or on
bridge railings. It was an amazing example of mastery and it reminded
me of a prior newsletter I’d written about squirrels and the genius of
persistence. If you need a little motivation to stay true to a dream or
goal, or to master something new, you might want to take a page from
squirrels.

Outside my office window I have two bird feeders that
attract all kinds of birds. One is designed for small birds like yellow
finches, and the other is for larger birds like cardinals and blue jays.
The feeders also attract squirrels. In the past, before they invented
squirrel-proof cages, I had an interesting time trying to keep them from
cleaning us out of food.

The first time I saw a squirrel climb
the pole to the feeder and eat to its heart’s content, I knocked on the
window to scare him away only to find him back two minutes later having a
