Do you ever have this feeling?

In conjunction with Universal Radio & T.V. stations, this a coordinated monthly emergency life test.  This Life is a test, it is only a test, if it had been an actual life you would have received further instructions on where to go and what to do!

My friend Benu said this today during a conversation we where having about the life and being.  He spit this quick one out, and it really stuck with me, in a funny way.  I just couldn’t pass illustrating this one!  Just for fun, could you imagine being a baby, just coming into your new body and getting use to the density of your body, when suddenly on T.V. one of those emergency broadcast tones fills the air.  But instead of the usual spiel, it is just a re-minder that life is only a test, this is why you take life seriously!

We are in a state of emergency and helicopters are all around us. My area is the only one not touched by water but surrounded by water everywhere. It is quiet and cars have left, roads are flooded and highways too. We may go to a middle school as a shelter until the rivers subside. I tried to send a Shar Joy message last night and the night before but it just wouldn't send. Remaining calm in the eye of a storm is a bit like detachment. I am aware but not allowing it to prevent me from thinking and being clear. I believe in being prepared with radio/flashlights etc….but the most powerful tool is still: prayer. I am asking that the rain is sent around the globe and to Texas and Arizona and dessert like areas who really need and desire it for growth and sustanance. ANH-Intl, Avaaz, the EP CAM Interest Group and other campaign groups will be in the European Parliament in Brussels to question European regulators, along with concerned Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), over how they are handling herbal products in Europe. The questions will be raised in an emergency forum organised by Greens MEPs including Michelle Rivasi, Satu Hassi, Heide Ru?hle, Carl Schlyter and Bart Staes.

But this is your chance to ask your own questions! If you can make it to Brussels, please be there. It would be amazing to stuff the seminar room full of concerned citizens to really show European regulators the extent and depth of concern.

Many of us are in a state of emergency and must stay off the roads…..I am presently buried in snow and the shoveling was gruesome yet easier by neighbors who gave of their time and brut force.  Now, the concern is for those that dwell by lakes, creeks and rivers.  It has become a water world, world wide.  That state of emergency can be emotionally devastating.  I suggest cd's by DR. LEE R. BARTEL, MUSIC FOR THE MIND titled, "HAPPINESS."  Played in the background all of his music ( including SLEEP THERAPY cd)  is effective in elevating the soul while eliminating anxiety. 

I have more time to write this week and was thinking about what Pablo Picasso once said.  "It is your work in life that is the ultimate seduction."  Some days are difficult and its vital to remain positive with sufficient enthusiasm.  Volunteering can lead to a career of a life time, stay open to opportunities.  How do we know what we are capable of unless we shrug off the comfort zone and do something unknown?  I adore children and though I don't make a lot of money the rewards are enormously gratifying.  As Joseph Campbell once stated " Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls."   The best is yet to come is my motto, ignore the stale social scene and shatter the status quo, most news is old news.  There is more going on globally than ever before and I feel we must love madly, purely, for its own sake.… Read the rest
