Beloved Ones,

We wish to have discourse on the quality of Love called kindness. This quality moves within the hearts of people and encourages them to put themselves into the place of the other person thereby feeling empathy for the situation they are in and then, showing these Ones kindness by performing deeds or actions or saying a few words that express this empathy by the act of kindness. This quality has been known to virtually change the lives of people who were in a place in their life’s journey that could have gone in a downward spiral.

Kindness has the effect of heartening individuals when they most need it. It moves people’s hearts to express the other qualities of Love towards each other. If a person who was down on their luck experienced kindness by receiving help in whatever form was needed by those around them, their hearts would not experience pain or suffering but rather would they be uplifted and inspired to continue to persevere until their wheel of fortune changed for the better.… Read the rest

Well first I will touch a bit on empathy and our ability as am empath which in short is discerning intuitively another’s emotion, thought, or action. Also called clairsentience. (NaturalNews) An animal whose very name is often used as an insult may harbor more "human" traits like compassion than previously suspected. A recent study by University of Chicago researchers suggests that rats are capable of behavior which seems based on empathy for others of their kind.

Compassionate rats?

Arguments against animal testing tend to center on those animals most like us, such as the great apes, or on animals humans frequently keep as pets like cats and dogs. Meanwhile, arguments for animal testing often center on the notion of animals as dumb beasts operating solely on instinct, unlike the finely tuned higher impulses of the human species. Yet rats in the recent study, published in the December 9, 2011 issue of the journal Science, went out of their way to free another rat that was trapped.

Psychologists at the University of Chicago conducted a series of experiments in which they put one rat inside a clear cage which could only be sprung from the outside. They left another rat to roam free outside the cage for an hour at a time.… Read the rest
