Winter solstice has always been a quiet and introspective time for me. At the darkest point of the year the dawning of the midnight sun symbolizes the first day of creation. I am about to be reborn. I will be new again. Winter Solstice is the birth of the new solar year and is symbolized by the dark, or midnight sun. The midnight solstice aligns the world of humanity with the world of the eternal, joining both in a sacred union that repeats each year at the same time.

The night before solstice is not another revival of the past, not another opportunity to recap the difficulties we have endured. The midnight sun of the winter solstice invites us to see our past as a journey of a thousand footsteps; the lotus blossom open and resplendent, its petals illumined by a light that is free of illusion. Regardless of where we have placed our awareness our journey has brought us to this moment.

Well it’s upon us, the much awaited December 21 heralding the end of a cycle of time and the beginning of a new one. To the Mayans and other indigenous cultures, each cycle carries its own unique energy so as we enter this new cycle it is about more than just flicking the calendar page over to start again. We are entering a new era and a new level of consciousness.

Over the days of December 21, 22 and 23 consider taking some time to be in a sacred space. Whether you take a moment each of those days to give thanks for your life, health, friends, family and the life we have here on Earth, or whether you dedicate the whole of the three days to sacred ceremony, or fun and joy, is totally up to you. Do what you feel in your heart to do.

The air is full of anticipation for The Great Celestial Alignment. There is no greater focus for you at this time because it keeps your perspective grand and without boundaries. This is the most important thing for you right now to conceive that your conceptions up until this time have been limited and are about to be blown boundary-less! This means that your great imprisonment of restraint of being, cognizance, expression and presence will be gradually and profoundly removed. No more shackles; no more limitations. Doesn’t freedom sound like the most exciting and exhilarating concept right now? Doesn’t it just make you want to shout with relief and bliss?! There is no greater time to experience than now; there is no greater purpose in your life than to be awake and aware and present in its unfoldment. The rose is opening; the spiral is expanding.

This is a message I received upon waking, on the morning of the events at Sandy Hook Elementary.  Even though the content of the message is not directly connected to what happened that day -for many reasons I decided to delay posting it on Saturday, as I had planned.  I must be honest and say that since Friday I have been spending a great deal of time in reflection and meditation, and have been working on my own clearings and activations.  Up until now, I’ve never had a problem remaining detached from the craziness out there in the 3D world.  It’s been fairly easy to be a caring observer, and to focus only on sending love and prayers to the situation.  Not an overly emotional person by nature, this hasn’t been one of the issues I had to work on all that much.  Wow, has this week been a wake-up call!  I reacted in an extremely emotional and “human” way to this unspeakable tragedy.

I learned of what had happened while waiting on the car-ramp of my son’s school, in the parent pickup line.  As a former Pre-K teacher and having worked for many years as a full-time substitute teacher for grades kindergarten through 2nd, I’ve always considered the classroom an almost magical, safe, charmed sort of place.  No matter what upheavals were taking place in my own life, I always felt that when I walked into the classroom I was in the safest and most comfortable place there could posiibly be.  Yes, we were required to lock our doors and perform the mandatory lockdown drills.  But it seemed inconceivable to me that in such a sweet and colorful world we would ever need to implement them.  Despite all the violence going on out there, who could ever really want to hurt sweet, innocent little children?… Read the rest

The acceleration is quite noticeable for many of us. Incredible openings, release, manifestation, insight, elevation. New spaciousness and life beyond old identities. On the Solstice-Dec. 21, 2012, we’re completing a 26,000 year cycle. Our planet will align with the Great Central Sun, and the galactic center. Transmissions of unconditional, pure love will flow forth and each of us, will receive these to the extent we are capable of receiving, grounding and integrating.

We’re in the transition point to that alignment. All our prior experiences on Earth within that cycle, are arising for completion. A perfect way to participate is to just let our identities soften, loosen, be fluid… Allow ourself to summon all the experiences, the love, the support we need to reflect and be present to ourselves thru this ending and this beginning.

Bless your own pathway, your heart and soul wisdom in guiding you home into wholeness and remembering. Do not compare yourself to anyone–just be YOU. We’re all different. Some are choosing to leave the planet, as you’re probably noticing.… Read the rest
