Would it Work? Hardcore Service to Others…

I’m not happy with my attitude these last few days, but I figure I wasn’t really conscious of it before either. 100% StS I’m definitely not, but 100% StO was also something I never even came close to, regardless of all the stuff I do for others: because actually, I did that stuff because it made me feel good, not because it made them feel good…

So, was I a Service to Self in disguise? Seems like it, for I still had ambitions of my own, which had nothing to do with pleasing others. Of course those didn’t materialise, which someone told me was because there still was attachment involved. Might very well be possible, but how on Earth can you wipe that out? Only possible avenue to pursue here feels to me like going cold turkey on the Service to Self: simply tearing up all your wish lists, and replace it with one Prime Directive: to do only that which is Service to Others!

Might seem ridiculously radical, but hear me out: When you believe in Source, like me, there simply is no way Source will treat anyone unjustly.… Read the rest

You lose one, but gain a bunch

In hindsight, the intention that got me onto my bike this morning is no longer important, since it never materialized. But hey, I should be used to that after five years of on and off success in manifestation, right? And probably this minor thing just wasn’t in the works with regard to the big stuff I still am expecting. But it got me on my bike, on a sunny Sunday morning, with a cool breeze running down my back….

Out of the city through the nearest exit tunnel, where Yolanda (a friend) warned me of broken glass inside the tunnel. My tires survived the challenge, as did the running shoes of the guys I warned in turn coming out of the tunnel. I’d wished for meaningful interactions, and although not quite the level I meant, I did get those in the first few minutes already.

Through the meadows, with cows, sheep, horses and various birds and insects, onward through Vierakker, towards the banks of the IJssel river. Found a bench opposite a meadow full of sheep, which seemed to be peacefully coexisting with the crows and ravens that were also available in large number. We find that the sense of expectation of a major change is growing,

Greetings from the realm of sunshine, bluebirds, waterfalls and never
ending peace. I am Methuselah and I greet you with fondness for all
that you do.

I am aware of your recent experience with opening a doorway of Light
for those ready to enter into the Light. This is occurring planetary
wise on a regular basis due to new energies. The energies of Love, Light
and Peace act as a catalyst for those who are ready and willing to move
to their next level. It has worked well for some time, yet there are
those, shall we say, stubborn ones, who continue to hang on by their
fingernails to what has served them for so long.

These ones have not been affected by the loving prompting of the

Man from Earth

Tonight was one of those rare occasions that the TV set was on here: my ladies wanted movies, so that’s what we planned. The youngest was so addicted to the Web she passed by the chance to influence the choice of movies, leaving it to me and Laura to pick the winners. Way too many horror movies and thrillers there, but finally we settled for one of her favorites, and one that I felt would be worthy of my attention.

The support act was Linday Lohan faking a pregnancy to avoid being fired, and all the hilarious stuff that follows from covering lies with lies. Highly amusing, as an appetizer.

The main course for me came after that, in the form of the Man from Earth. Don’t expect astonishing special effects in this movie, because it must have been one of the lowest budget movies, being a real dialog film. And in effect it isn’t so much the actions of the characters, as the story they tell.

Professor John Oldman is moving. Friends barge in at the last moment he is packing his stuff onto a pickup, and prod him into revealing why he is leaving.… Read the rest

the Little Boy

There is this chair that I remember from being a little boy… It is a small rocking chair that I sat in at my Grandparents house in when I was just a wee little being. Did I say small? Well, it is… From my limited experience with children I would guess that 3 or 4 years would be the oldest a child would be to be able to sit in it. It is rather plain, unremarkable to look at really, but it turns out to be a powerful object. It was purchased in 1855 for my dad’s great great grandfather and from that time, all the lineage of men in the Titus family have sat in that chair… including me. Now, I have to say the magnitude of this particular revelation didn’t fully dawn on me until last night, yet I have been doing the work that allowed for me to see for many, many years.
