It is Year One of the newly Ascended Planet Earth. In this extraordinary phase of linear time on your planet there is a uniquely opportune juncture for self-review and chosen solitude.

Masters, many of you, particularly those above the age of 49, the seventh 7 year cycle, find yourselves in a state of sovereign solitude.

Spouses have passed, children have left, relationships terminated and marriage contracts have ended and many of you find yourselves living alone. And although this path is at times quite lonely, quite difficult and may feel ‘unnatural’ for many of you, it is a seclusion of high purpose.

The title of this article begs the question; who are you? A general basic for most people’s concepts about themselves could be something like this; I was born. I’m human. I’m not bad looking. I think I’m reasonably intelligent. My life could be better, but it could be worse. I hope to be successful. I will grow older, and one day I will die. We only live once. I hope that my life will have been happy.

None of this addresses who you are. How many people consciously ask themselves these questions: Who am I? Why am I? What is my life truly about? In fact, only the few ask these questions. The many do not even think about it, or it is a fleeting thought, quickly dismissed.

Most people grow up with a similar outlook on life as their parents. Oh yes, there is the time of rebellion, when parents are ‘has-beens,’ but this passes. By the time our thirties arrive, we realise that our parents actually have learned something about life.… Read the rest

Dear Jennifer: Everyone thinks I have a perfect life.  I’m involved in a relationship with a good man and no one knows that I really want to end it because I’m very unhappy and don’t want to continue. While I love him, I can’t see us together and I know in my heart I cannot marry him. My family and friends think I have a very good job and yet I am not happy there. I feel guilty because so many people don’t have work and I should be happy with what I have. But the politics in the workplace, the difficult energy and the people there are hard for me and I want to work at a different company. But then I wonder how I’ll get an interview, what will I say to my employer, who counts on me, how will people in my life react when they see me leaving my great job? I am so confused and don’t know why I cannot be happy with what I have.

I hear this question so often during sessions and events that I wanted to take a few moments to address it here.

First of all, do you really want to find your “soul mate”?

A soul mate is simply a soul with whom you’ve had multiple previous lifetimes in various incarnations, not necessarily all as lovers. You could find a lover in this lifetime who has been your mother, brother, postman, daughter and murderer in previous lifetimes. That doesn’t mean that being with that person this time will make you feel happy or complete. It means you will likely feel instant recognition of that soul, feel an instant, overwhelming connection, but again, that doesn’t mean the romantic relationship is “meant to be.”

When I tell people the above, a lot of times they say, “OK, scratch that. I want to find the soul mate who’s my long lost love, the one who has always been my spouse or lover in previous lifetimes!” It’s true, many people do have such a person somewhere out there.… Read the rest
