Out with the old, in with the new.

The eclipse last week kicked off a high-spirited holiday season just in time for a big new year in 2012. This isn’t a walk in the park, though.

break up long-standing energy patterns, and everything’s in flux again. If you’re feeling high-strung, nervous or generally discombobulated, it could be the shifting electromagnetics related to the eclipse series. We’re in the wobble.

The most volatile period is the two weeks between the partial on November 24/25 and the total on December 10.

Which areas of your life are due for an overhaul? Where the eclipses fall in your natal chart will give you big clues. The Gemini-Sagittarius full eclipse will reveal what’s been lurking in the subconscious.

Eclipses happen in six-month and 19-year cycles. Think about what was happening in your life in those periods. What’s coming to completion? What’s beginning?

We’ll be integrating this shift all the way through the Cancer/Capricorn full moon on January 8. Click here for the line-up.

Remember to stay grounded and focused this holiday eclipse season. B-r-e-a-t-h-e. Eat dark, leafy greens and root vegetables. Avoid alcohol (a real killer), caffeine and other stimulants. Boost the immune system. Load up on minerals. Pay attention to your body’s needs for rest and exercise. Spend time in nature.  And don’t skip the meditation and yoga!
