Here is the UFO Headline News for Monday September 4th, 2017
Headline #1: Labor Day in The United States
Synopsis: Labor Day in the United States is a public holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September. It honors the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws and well-being of the country. It is the Monday of the long weekend known as Labor Day Weekend and it is considered the unofficial end of summer in the United States. The holiday is also a federal holiday. Beginning in the late 19th century, as the trade union and labor movements grew, trade unionists proposed that a day be set aside to celebrate labor. “Labor Day” was promoted by the Central Labor Union and the Knights of Labor, which organized the first parade in New York City. In 1887, Oregon was the first state of the United States to make it an official public holiday. By the time it became an official federal holiday in 1894, thirty U.S. states officially celebrated Labor Day.
Synopsis: Houston ― Recovery and repair are going to take a long time. There were still roads and neighborhoods in the greater Houston area underwater after Hurricane Harvey and its remnants unloaded dozens of inches of rain on southeastern Texas over the course of several days. Some local residents told HuffPost on Sunday that they still couldn’t get into their homes. But as the water continues to recede in and around the city, many have had the opportunity to assess the damage and begin the long process of repair.
Headline #3: Earth Passing Between Neptune and Sun
Synopsis: On September 4, Earth and Neptune are closest for 2017. One day later, on September 5, Neptune reaches opposition, when it is 180 degrees from the sun in our sky. By closest, we don’t mean close. Neptune, the 8th planet outward from the sun, lodges in the outskirts of our solar system and at opposition lies 29 times farther away from Earth than Earth lies from our sun. Neptune is said to be at opposition – opposite the sun in Earth’s sky – whenever our planet Earth in its orbit passes between the sun and Neptune. That’s what’s happening over the next couple of days. In 2017, the moon turns full only one day after Neptune reaches opposition.
Synopsis: NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson, who set multiple U.S. space records during her mission aboard the International Space Station, along with crewmates Jack Fischer of NASA and Commander Fyodor Yurchikhin of Roscosmos, safely landed on Earth Saturday at 9:21 p.m. EDT (7:21 a.m. Kazakhstan time, Sept. 3), southeast of the remote town of Dzhezkazgan in Kazakhstan. While living and working aboard the world’s only orbiting laboratory, Whitson and Fischer contributed to hundreds of experiments in biology, biotechnology, physical science and Earth science, welcomed several cargo spacecraft delivering tons of supplies and research experiments, and conducted a combined six spacewalks to perform maintenance and upgrades to the station.
Synopsis: Tabby’s Star – the nickname for KIC 8462852 – was observed by so-called exoplanet hunters to be showing strange dips in brightness that we don’t see with other stars. Scientists offered up a variety of explanations for the shifts in brightness, from an extremely large planet or a debris disc. The most entertaining idea that caught the public consciousness is the suggestion that it might be an “alien megastructure.” Scientists and science-fiction authors have entertained ideas like this before, with one of the most enduring being the Dyson Sphere, where a star is wrapped entirely in solar panels to harvest 100 percent of its power output.
Headline #6: UFO Sighting in Southern River, Western Australia

Headline #7: UFO Sighting in Santa Monica, California
Synopsis: I was at Palisades Park in Santa Monica at night and taking a picture of the Santa Monica Pier–a full moon and the ocean–and I saw circular objects in the sky over the ocean; I wasn’t sure what I saw at first as I was taking the photo and thought ‘how odd’; I looked again and they had disappeared; after looking at the photo, I could see there were four circular objects in a row–three of the objects looked exactly the same and the fourth object was larger.
Headline #8: UFO Spotted Over The San Gabriel Valley, California
